About the studio

Kaamos is the Finnish word for the polar night, the weeks when the sun stays below the horizon in the north. In Helsinki it never quite disappears, but it hangs low and blue for most of the winter. These prints started there.

Each design starts from my own concept and is made with the help of AI tools, then finished by hand for printing. They share one palette and one way of drawing, so the pieces hang together as a collection.

Digital files and posters are sold through Etsy, which handles payment, delivery and returns. Posters are printed on demand at a print studio near you, so they travel a shorter way.
